Is there a front desk?
No — these are self-check-in units with digital codes provided before arrival.

Are these units inside the Cinnamon Bear Inn?
No, these are independent vacation rentals managed by our team but located near Eagle Lodge.

Is snow removal handled?
Yes. Summit’s HOA provides snow clearing for parking and walkways. We recommend 4x4/AWD or chains in winter.

Do these allow pets?
No, to ensure clean and allergy-safe stays for all guests. However, we do offer pet-friendly rooms at the Cinnamon Bear Inn located Downtown by Main Street.

What about parking?
Each condo has a designated parking space in the building’s parking structure by its unit number. There is additional guest parking by the community center where the gym is located.

Are there bears?
We regularly have bears roaming the town, even in the Winter. Please take precautions and avoid leaving food or scented items in your car. Cinnamon Bear Inn is not responsible for damage to your vehicle.

What if I need to talk to someone?
Call us! Our number is (760) 934-2873, and if it’s after 9 pm, press 1 for our late-night attendant.

The Summit Rules:

  • The Summit is a non-smoking complex. No smoking or vaping is permitted on Summit property. Smoking is prohibited in condos, on balconies, in garages, and in all common areas. 

  • Noise: Please be respectful of other visitors. No loud music or other noise after 10:00 PM.

  • Spas, saunas, and pools are open from 10 AM to 10 PM. Dogs and glass containers are not allowed in those areas. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Trash: Please secure the dumpster lids after disposing of trash, and use the bear-proof trash containers located throughout the complex

  • Recycling containers are located in several of the bear-proof trash containers around the complex.

  • Parking: You will have one assigned parking spot in the parking garage notated by the unit number, in the parking structure directly below the units, and another guest parking spot located in the outdoor parking lot in front of the main office. You may be ticketed or towed if you park elsewhere.

  • Wood fires: It is important that you know and follow the instructions for using your unit's fireplace or wood burning stove. Never leave your unit with a fire burning, unless it has been properly secured or extinguished.

  • Smoke: Occasionally, smoke from another unit may enter yours through your unsecured wood fireplace or stove. To avoid, make sure your damper is closed.

  • E-bikes are prohibited on sidewalks throughout the complex
